Creative Direction invites small businesses to learn how social networking is taking business to the max on June 24th.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN / June 15, 2010 - Creative Direction, Inc., a technology driven marketing and communications practice specializing in on-line and direct response communications, will help stakeholders discover new tools to help grow businesses on Thursday, June 24th. "Social Networking to the MAX", a free breakfast seminar for small business owners and marketing communicators, will be presented live at the IMAX Hamilton Theater in Noblesville, Indiana, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM EST. The seminar is designed to provide attendees with the knowledge and confidence to plan their initial steps into Social Media. The agenda also contains advice on preventing pitfalls and how to make the most of the marketing dollars already being spent in the many online social networking venues.

Richard Parker, Creative Direction's President and Creative Director as well as the keynote speaker for the breakfast seminar, has said, "eMarketer reports that 221 million people in the U.S. are now online. That's about 72% of the total population. This now proportionately represents the demographic, diversity and psychographic shape of our culture. The presence and opportunities of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, wikis and the like in the marketplace can seem overwhelming, especially for a small business. But you simply cannot afford to ignore the trend."

To date, small businesses have doubled their investment in social networking, an amount that will soon account for nearly one-fifth of all marketing dollars spent, according to a study from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and the American Marketing Association. In addition, more than four in ten business executives recently surveyed by StrongMail said integrating e-mail along with social networking was one of their most important initiatives for 2010. And more than two-thirds of Facebook users indicated that a Facebook "friend" referral would increase their chance of purchasing a product or visiting a retailer, according to research and consulting firm Morpace.

Mr. Parker founded Creative Direction in 1993 to help businesses grow by using best practices and innovative marketing communications programs. Winning over 1,500 awards for creative excellence, Mr. Parker has been an engaging guest speaker for many trade and industry organizations speaking on a variety of marketing communications topics including participating as a keynote speaker in the Worldwide Creative Consortium panel at the Jacob Javits Center in New York for three consecutive years. Attendees at the special breakfast event on June 24th will receive a free social networking marketing audit consultation, a Facebook ad for their company, and free IMAX tickets for a future movie of choice at the theater. The event is sponsored by CISCO. Those interested can sign up for the free seminar by visiting http://tiny.cc/n6bdr.
