DAIRYBUSINESS announces an impressive commitment to the dairy industry by introducing The Future of Dairy.
East Syracuse, NY / September 30 - As a key figure in the dairy industry for over a century, DAIRYBUSINESS is announcing significant changes in the way it is now doing business. The company is currently in the process of refining and upgrading publishing and communications services for their marketer and advertiser clients.
Although there has been little growth in the number of milk cows or number of dairy operations in the United States since the late 1990's, market economics have caused dairy operators to produce increased levels of milk every year for the same or lower prices. In addition, an oversupply of milk from other countries threatens to drive down present level prices. During this same period, dairy operations have had to adopt new techniques and methods to comply with strict requirements to maintain high quality milk standards. These situations have put significant financial pressure on dairy operations which are relatively small businesses and 97% family owned.
In response, the owners of DAIRYBUSINESS recognize an opportunity to reposition their combined companies and services to focus on helping dairy producers by becoming a strong advocate for their cause. So, along with our other partners, we will now be providing more relevant and helpful technology driven information and news to the dairy producers in more effective ways. This has meant upgrading our technology systems, re-orienting editorial direction of content, and even developing a new business that will create a new market segment category designed to help dairy producers to prosper and grow. John Montandon, owner/partner of DAIRYBUSINESS expressed to employees at a recent company meeting, "We call the program 'The Future of Dairy'. And it really is the best way for DAIRYBUSINESS to help build a more productive and profitable future for dairy."
At the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin, in early October, Joel Hastings, also owner/partner of DAIRYBUSINESS, will present the company's new direction to those attending. "We now have two major directives. The first is to focus on those who need the most help and provide better ways to share more information needed to help producers manage, grow, and prosper. The second is to provide advanced new media and communications programs for our advertisers and marketers that will help more effectively brand and sell their clients' products and services. We have already brought our employees and partner companies on board with our new program. In fact, we have many new revamped services operating right now. And there are many more on the way. Our goal is to help dairy producers and their operations become a part of The Future of Dairy."
